I Miss You...

What a day, what a day. Work was probably the best it has ever been as I got to test a computer for watching YouTube videos. What is the best way to do that? How about watching old EVO videos! Maybe a little Marvel v Capcom 3 with Clakey D and Mike Ross! So awesome!

Also, EVO is currently going steaming as I am writing this blog. Watching some top notch matches while being instructed by my friend about the history of EVO as well as how he thinks the characters are balanced! All my players lost though. Which really sucks. Only one left but he is in losers, and he might get knocked down. I don't know who I'll root for then.

MLG has been pretty awesome the VERY small amount i have seen but Idra v iNcontrol is happening with Idra up one and that is going to be pretty awesome! I am so happy right now! This weekend is going to be so awesome!

In personal news I got to see a friend of mine today that I hadn't seen in awhile. It was nice meeting up with her again and I hope that it can happen again in the not too distant future! Anyway, sorry for my horrible organizing today, I am super distracted.

Work

So, I would like to start this off by apologizing in advance for the potential rambling nature of this next post. I am quite tired and my brain doesn't really want to work right now. I'm currently at work while writing this blog. Which, while normally, I would frown upon, I am technically still working as I am installing updates as I type. The killer work out from my brother has my neck, stomach, and top of my legs screaming whenever I move them. Especially my neck, which gets moved a good deal more then I realized. This annoyance is okay, however, as today has been a decent day.

Work at 6 P.M. means I have plenty of time to do nothing before I head out. I spent my nothing time reading, and like I promised in my previous post, I have gotten to book three and have made decent progress. It's sad, though, because I realize that my progress is about to take a nose dive starting tomorrow evening roughly around 6 in the evening. After meeting with a friend for some dinner and catching up, I will be returning home to where I shall start watching MLG and EVO until they have both stopped, or I fall asleep. And that is how my weekend will go. I'm so excited. I can't wait. My favorite to win MLG, in case anyone was wondering, is Huk, though I would love for RGN.KiWiKaKi or EG.iNcontrol to win I don't think they have as much of a chance. With EVO I just want to see EGjwong wreck. It is going to be a wonderful nerdy weekend.

Alas, it is now time to return to work, for the service is done and it needs editing and uploading!

I Edit for Grammar

I had to hurry my Friend off of a Skype call today. I feel really bad about it. I'm going to apologize here because I know that you will see it eventually. My stomach was rumbling as we talked though, and the cereal was super tasty. Honey Buzzers for the win!

Sadly, I didn't get as far in The Chamber of Secrets as I was hoping, but with work and Starcraft eating my time today, as well as rent paying and getting destroyed by my brothers "workout", I couldn't find the time. It will be finished soon and I will be racing on the the third, which is one of my favorites.

And now at 2:51 I am trying to keep my sdbf awake as long as possible for "inspiration". I don't really need her, but I am enjoying this exchange. Now I am ignoring her to see if she will stay awake longer. She is now just talking mostly to herself. We watched a movie and a half together tonight staying awake far longer than we should have. We were both quite tired upon waking this morning. We're going to kill ourselves with our bad sleeping habits.

Harry Potter!

Recently, while I was in Raleigh visiting a friend, I saw the new Harry Potter movie which I enjoyed a great deal. I know some people who were not to fond of it, but I reject this statement as I have disliked almost every Harry Potter movie to date, and yet have still seen them all except Part one of Book Seven. It had the special something that the others were lacking and, in my opinion, put a nice bow on the series.

The movies are not why I am writing this however. The movies stirred up a thirst in me that can only be quenched by reading the books. I started Sunday evening when I couldn't hold it off any longer, since then I have gotten to a third of the way through book two. I'm not exactly going for a speed reading, but I am trying to go quickly, I am curious to see how long it is going to take me to get through the entirety of the books. I would like it to be before I move back to Boone, which will be a tentative 9th. It's been moved so many times I am not even sure anymore.

Despite my quickness i am truly enjoying my re-reading of this series. I forgot how much I love the world that was created by J.K. Rowling. Her's, more than any other world created, I want to inhabit. I wouldn't even mind having a normal life, if you can call anything normal in her world. But enough writing, I'm going to escape again into her magical world.

Introductions

I don't know why the title is Introductions when there is only one writer. I had grand ideas when I was thinking of the title for this blog, but they have all faded as I procrastinated in its creation. All that is really going to come into fruition is an introduction. Not a good one, mind you; my writing skills are lacking, but I shall try my best nonetheless. My friend seems to have confidence in me however, despite the fact that the only writing she has seen from me has been in conversation form over Skype (which reminds me, I need to send her a letter...).

Alright, enough delaying, I suppose it is time that we get to the purpose of this entry, I am a nerd-tastic boy, as specified in the name of the blog, my biggest nerd ... thing, I suppose, is ESPORTS (it's not real eSports if it isn't all in caps!) I am an avid watcher of Professional StarCraft players. I also play, but as i am terrible that is really of no importance. Watching it fills me with joy, however, and I have no shame in doing it. My twitter is littered with the people involved in this "sport" that I adore. In the forefront of these is my favorite person Sean "Day[9]" Plott. I want to be like him as much as I possibly can. While I am into other ESPORTS, nothing holds me like StarCraft.

So that is the nerd part of me and honestly the only thing I want to introduce. At the moment it is the only thing I am really sure about. If you care and read you should get to know me anyway. Isn't that the point of a Blog?
